TRIPADVISOR - Henry van Wyk - 23 Apr 2019 - - - Augusta, Pebble beach, no you are not in the PGA tour, but it is Luxury stay at its best - - - For celebrating our wedding anniversary as well as my wife's birthday, we decided to have an Easter Holiday as both the anniversary and birthday are very close to Easter. The surroundings are lush plant growth, inviting local wildlife. I sat watching a family of mongoose play around our villa on Sunday morning. Guests at Selbourne Golf Estate also enjoy access to the clubs private beach, 5 minutes drive away from the Estate. All the different villas on the estate are named after famous golf courses. We stayed in the Augusta self catering units. Beautiful 3 bedroom unit with mes, very well equipped, having airconditioners in each bedroom. It is also fully serviced. Every morning a cleaning lady would come and wash the dishes, clean the kitchen and bathrooms, make the beds and was the floors. The bathrooms are spacious, having a shower and bath as well as toilet and basin in each bathroom. Towels are supplied. The kitchen is modern and spacious, equipped with a fridge freezer, 4 plate stove, undercounter oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, snackwich maker, all the cutlery and crockery, cooking utensils. It also has a automatic washing machine and tumble dryer in the kitchen as well as a dishwasher. Outside is a braai area, with large table and ample seating. The braai also sports a light insde the built-in braai, so you can see your food even at night.
