TRIPADVISOR - 871gavin - 2 Nov 2020 - - - The best in SA (apart from the food) - - - This is one of my favourite places in the country. Totally magical setting, rooms are amazing, and the staff and service so brilliant. The food is decidedly average, which just stands out as a bit of a blind spot given that everything else is so well done (small gripe: the cocktails are dreadful). Our previous reviews are testimony to the fact that our cuisine offering appeals to most guests but we fully respect your comment as we continue to strive for perfection. We're absolutely thrilled that you would like to return and we take up the challenge with vigor to improve on what you expect from our dedicated chefs as well as our extensive and exciting cocktail menu.
