Hi Helen We agree that the (very long) 12km drive is a bumpy one, but as you say - the perfect hideaway in beautiful Pondoland. It is definitely worth the drive to get to this little piece of heaven.
2 How satisfied were you with your stay at Umngazi?

Disliked: Our group all suffered from varying degrees of stomach upsets whilst there. Perhaps this was due to our intolerance of water used on the buffet salads as we’re not locals.

I am extremely sorry to hear about your upset stomachs during your stay. Umngazi has a state of the art water purification plant where water is purified, chlorinated and then fed into the resort. And thank you for rating your stay with us as 5 star!

The bungalows are so comfortably furnished. We opted for a sea view bungalow and couldn’t fault it.
