TRIPADVISOR - petersO7156ES - 25 Feb 2020 - - - It could be even better - - - The cows and various other hoofed animals on the approach road of a lodge should be part of the flair of the country for the traveler to Africa and should be self-evident, as should the nature of the road, if you can call it that. The lodge is in an absolutely fantastic location with a view of the sea and lagoon. The price-performance ratio regarding the additional costs is very good. As far as the ladies at the reception are concerned, there is still some catching up to do in terms of friendliness and commitment. We had booked a private dinner on the beach and the front desk was unable to provide the information to set the table for four as agreed the day before. (Google Translate) (http://bit.ly/2PrUCWU)
The food is very good and varied. There are theme days such as Pasta, Mexican, seafood or barbeque. The kitchen team works professionally and quickly. Our request for extra oysters for lunch was immediately met and the extra price was moderate. The service is cautious according to African standards and therefore takes place in peace. After a few irritations and inquiries, Tabisa, a young waitress, alone rearranged the table and organized additional chairs. Thanks to the commitment of the employee and the excellent cuisine, the evening was a complete success
The rooms are comfortable and have an outdoor shower and bathtub. There is no air conditioning, but it is not absolutely necessary. Mosquito nets over the king-size beds might be helpful.
