TRIPADVISOR - francis b - 30 Mar 2020 - - - holiday visit - - - thoroughly enjoyed our stay. all amenities excellent except for the daunting road (11kms of it). river guide on sunset cruise was outstanding. a great place to unwind and enjoy exceptional food. The sunset cruise is definitely a highlight of the Umngazi experience and our beautiful staff makes it all so special. After lengthy discussions with the local authorities over the past year, the public road leading to Umngazi was graded last week with promise that it will be a regular occurrence in the future. Even though the road may be daunting, Umngazi is a hidden gem worth the drive. We can't wait to welcome you and your family back with us in the near future.
