TRIPADVISOR - AlisonParle - 22 Nov 2020 - - - When can we go back?! - - - My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Umngazi in 1995, and decided to retrace our steps to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary there. Wow! It has certainly grown, but the same ethos, friendly staff and value for money applies. Our chalet was simple but spacious, beautifully decorated with uninterupted breathtaking views of the sea and sand, and a massive outside shower. The attention to detail was incredible, including a personal handwritten card welcoming us, along with a bottle of sparkling wine on ice. The food was sublime and out of this world, with my coeliac disease diet being catered for at each and every meal. We were there during the school holidays, but the parents looked relaxed as their kids were well entertained. We treated ourselves to a spa treatment and felt truly pampered in the luxurious surroundings. Our only disappointment was that we had only booked 3 nights! We will be back as soon as possible!
