FACEBOOK - Carey-Lyn Von Engelhardt Roll - 5 Dec 2020 - - - We traveled to Umngazi for our 1st visit from Cape Town in November - we loved every minute of our stay and will be back out of season as we are a couple 🙂 .... in addition (I hate spiders) the cottages were so clean, the thatch inside & under the eves of the cottage .. and we noticed we were not bothered by flies or mozis ( not sure how that happened ) The staff and food was great x the lodge and decor bright and beautiful.. Our only complaint was that there wasn’t enough shade along the river edge ( as the pool area was full) and if one wanted to get away from all the activity around the pool - there was no were set up with shade a long the river edge. We have in the interim acquired more deck umbrella's and strategically place some on the lawns overlooking the river to improve on guests comfort there. Absolutely thrilled that you will be back.
