TRIPADVISOR - Ceren T - 23 Mar 2021 - - - A taste of history - - - I enjoyed this place especially because it has been open for more then 100 years! Throughout our stay we met a lot of people who have been coming here for years and years.First a s a child themselves, then with their children and now with their friends or with their grandchildren! Another reason were the lovely hikes. Especialy the mangorve hike was spectacular. A walk in je high grass, a walk on the beach, a walk in the jungle between the crabs and canoeing. The rooms are pretty basic. No mini bar, no bottles of water etc... But I didn't miss it. The lunch buffets were super as well. The dinners were touch and miss but once they started serving buffets they became very good. I think that's kind of the specialty here. I could definetly understand why people kept on coming back to it. I was there for four days and rested fully while I was there. (https://tinyurl.com/yxuustbo)
