TRIPADVISOR - Y1576ZGkated - 27 Mar 2021 - - - R and K Difford - - - A beautiful part of the world. We flew to Umtata and took a shuttle to the hotel. The road to the hotel once you turn off the main road is challenging and we'd like to thank Sam from Sun Shuttles for his careful and impeccable driving. The hotel was fully booked, but the service was excellent. Management was always available and approachable and the staff helpful and caring. So glad we finally made it to Umgazi! Umngazi is certainly a beautiful setting and in a stunning part of the Wild Coast. Thankfully the department of public works has commenced repairs on the 10km public road to the hotel so we're hopeful that the pothole navigating will soon be behind us.
