1 How would you rate your overall experience?

TRIPADVISOR - Mil-ZN - 1 Apr 2021 - - - A well-deserved 5-stars - - - This place is like chicken soup for the soul. We arrived to find an immaculately clean bungalow- no tv’s which was great. We also had the privilege of experiencing different sides of the resort in both a garden facing and estuary facing room and each had their own unique benefits. The food is exceptionally good and we never wanted for anything as there were pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan options catered for. The seafood buffet was definitely a highlight. A very special mention to Chef Nico who went out of his way to accommodate our dietary requirements and even made us a delicious vegan dessert on our last evening. He even packed us a special picnic basket for a beach lunch at very short notice. The sand-boarding is an absolute must. We travelled as a group of friends with kids and they were never bored. Plenty of sport, planned activities and a creative corner to keep them entertained. 2 suggestions for improvement would be to put a phone in the room so requesting amenities is abit easier. Also, the WiFi does not work well in the rooms so a few extenders might be required. Well-done on preserving the unadulterated beauty of this little piece of paradise. Dear Milisha and Family We are extremely humbled by your magnificent review of our beautiful Umngazi. Thank you so much for taking the time to mention so many details of your stay and for providing future guests with a taste of what to expect. Nico will be extremely grateful that you are thanking him personally. Our entire kitchen team together with him, always go out of their way to make sure our guests are well fed and leave here a few kilo's heavier :) We completely agree that children are never bored with so many activities available as well as wide open spaces to run around and just have fun and be free. The wifi in our public areas are fantastic but can be quite erratic in our bungalows - it provides a fantastic opportunity to just switch off from the busy world outside. We look forward to welcoming all of you back to our beautiful Umngazi in the near future. With warm Pondo greetings from the team.
