Thank you very much for taking the time to review your stay with us at Umngazi. We are extremely grateful for your "absolutely stunning" description of the resort. The Wild coast and our area is surely one of the most beautiful parts of our beautiful country. We are happy to hear that you found the food amazing and accommodation brilliant.
We are however terribly sorry that you feel that we as Management showed a lack of empathy and assistance during the political unrest in not only your province, but in other parts of our country as well. We all felt extremely vulnerable during this time. We had a lot of other guests extend their stay with us and were all offered the same discount as you and your family and friends were offered. We are sorry to hear that this did not meet with your expectations. The resort was very busy at the time and we were grateful that we were able to accommodate and assist everyone. It is very sad for us to hear that you found us unsympathetic when we were most sympathetic towards all our guests.
I have tried to contact you directly, but your phone keeps on going to voicemail. I would've loved to have discussed this with you personally.
