Trip Advisor - Passenger579381 - 20 Sep 2021 - - - umngazi stay most enjoyable - - - stay was most enjoyable the hotel possibly oldish and at some areas need a freshen up outside road from the main tar road is 12 km of potholes and we feel should be improved it is remote from gauteng and we expected the hotel to be more upmarket needs some refurbishment. Umngazi prides itself in that it is an understated family holiday destination maintaining the natural laidback , tranquil beauty of the area and the community within which we are ensconced. Home away from home with luxury comfort and friendly professional service is what we aspire to. We and our community are most grateful to the department of public works who have recently resurfaced the gravel sections of the public access road to our hotel. They still plan to fill the potholes on the tar sections, which we trust will be soon. We hope to welcome you back to our piece of paradise on the real Wild Coast.
