1 How would you rate your overall experience?

TRIP ADVISOR - Pieter W - 24 September - - - Wild Coat Wonder - - - Umngazi is worth the 11-hour drive from Jhb - providing a tranquil setting with beautiful beaches and amazing views! Lots of activities, delicious food and relaxing Spa... we had a great time! Unfortunately we found Wifi is unavailable in our room, which wasn't clear to us when we booked. Of course we want to break away, but with no cellphone reception we relied on Wifi to stay in contact for work/emergencies - I hope this is something they improve. Also, some improvement required at check-in, better informing first timers about tea times, how dinner works, etc. (https://tinyurl.com/2kuw8bxt).

Dear Pieter. Thank you for your amazing feedback of your Umngazi experience. We are thrilled that you had a great time enjoying all that a stay with us offers. Our chefs and spa will be most appreciative of your compliments. Due to our rooms being free standing, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all public areas of the hotel. Being as remote as we are can have its challenges but recognising the importance of connectivity our service provider is continuously researching new and better options for us. We do have cellphone coms at the hotel. On arrival, guests are welcomed with a small information leaflet as well as shown our informative interactive screen, which details activities, meal times, etc. We find after a long trip people just want to settle in an relax so we try and not overload you with information but also recognise the importance of clear and effective communication. We appreciate your constructive feedback on these matters to ensure we always strive towards perfection. We hope to welcome you back at our piece of paradise on the Wild Coast.
