External Review's Review of Umngazi Hotel And Spa

1 How would you rate your overall experience?

TRIP ADVISOR - mariodeabreu1 - 30 Oct 2021 - - - Umgazi River Bungalows review - - - We stayed at the resort for 6 wonderful days. The rooms were superb, the food amazing and it was immaculately clean. Things I would change or add: the snacks on the river boat cruise were very poor. No one ate the stodgy pastries. Also, no drinks available on board. Rather charge more and have a choice of drinks and quality snacks. In the bar area get rid of the snooker table ( no one plays snooker anymore) and put in two pool tables. Get some pedal boats and hobie cats for the guests to use. Not everyone likes to lie in the sun doing nothing. In the evening put on some entertainment." (https://tinyurl.com/2kuw8bxt).

Umngazi Hotel And Spa
Dear Mario. Thank you for your wonderful and constructive feedback following your stay with us at Umngazi. We are very happy that you rated your six day stay as superb. We always greatly appreciate constructive feedback to ensure that we continue to strive for improvement and professionalism. Guests place an order at the bar prior to embarking on our very popular sunset cruise and these are then delivered on ice for your enjoyment up the river while viewing the riverine birdlife including our resident fish eagles. Umngazi has SOP boards, kayaks and canoes for hire to use on the river which is a very popular pastime for guests. There are also numerous walks and hikes available as well as cycle tracks for those who'd like to work off what our chefs passionately prepare. There is also of course miles and miles of beautiful, quiet, pristine beach to walk on until your hearts content. We continuously look into and consider various other options for guests pleasure and delight so we welcome all and any advice and feedback in this regard. We hope to welcome you back at our piece of paradise on the Real Wild Coast again and wish you all well until then. Pondo greetings from the Umngazi family.
