1 How would you rate your overall experience?

TRIP ADVISOR - Denise E - 9 May 2022 - - - More than expected - - - "Luxury with fine dining in a wonderful setting. An abundance of delicious food and very reasonable bar prices. Spa prices were also very affordable. For hikers there is only one trail you can do on your own. A guide is available for other hikes and again at a very reasonable price. If you want to do the sunset cruise I would suggest booking on arrival as unfortunately we didn't and it was full every evening of our stay. I would suggest booking cottage 11 which is in a perfect location with lovely views. Sadly we had to move cottages for our last night and were moved to a family unit. I would NOT recommend booking one of these if you are a couple as they are more noisy with no privacy. This rather spoiled the end of our stay. However I would still recommend Umngazi and would love to return."

Thank you for rating our food, bar, spa and hikes so highly and we're very pleased that you found Umngazi good value for money. That is exactly what we aim to be ensuring a wonderful experience in the process. We do have a number of hikes that one can do on your own but done with a local guide just offers so much more to the experience. We're sorry that we couldn't keep you in the same room but in the same room type due to us being full. Some of our rooms are interleading to accommodate families and we try as best we can to ensure that families or guests travelling together occupy these. Even though some of these rooms are interleading, each room has it's own private bathroom and outside area. We would love to welcome you back and look forward to that.
