1 How would you rate your overall experience?

GOOGLE - Doynton Berry - 6 June 2022 - - - "Our previous visits to Umgazi River Bungalows has always been a treat. Unfortunately this time we were a little disappointed - we had cold meals from the buffet at almost every mealtime, we had a few staff members who were quite unfriendly / unhelpful on our first day, and the spa was unable to accommodate our party of 6. As usual the rooms, location, river cruise - and everything else that makes this resort an amazing escape from the rat-race - was great!"

Dear Doynton and Mariette. Thank you for providing us feedback following your stay at Umngazi and for taking my call. We are very disappointed that we fell a 'little' short of your expectations in some areas but delighted that you still enjoyed your stay, raved about the quality of the meals and that the rest of your experience was great! Our deliciously prepared Saturday evening seafood buffet is served on hot trays and chafing dishes so should never be cold. The same goes for our mouth watering Sunday braai's so we will certainly ensure this receives managements urgent attention. Guests can choose either heated plates from our plate warmer or cold salad plates if preferred. The rest of our evening meals are table d'hote served via the hot pass in the kitchen on warm plates, thank you for confirming with me that these were great. We're sorry we couldn't accommodate your party of six at the spa all at once as requested but as communicated, we could have done so separately. We hope to welcome you back again and wish you friendly Pondo greetings from the Umngazi team.
