TRIP ADVISOR - Nandipham385 - 26 September 2022 - - - Customer service was great - - - "Location of the resort is the best ever. Cleanliness of the rooms was amazing. If you can have water bottles in the rooms for consumption. Road from R61 needs to be worked on, its becoming too narrow. Not easy to see oncoming cars."

Umngazi is situated on the mouth of the Mngazi river and our staff employed only from the villages around us. Their warm Pondo culture is such a big part of what makes Umngazi so special and we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the warm customer service that they offer. Our housekeeping team will be blown away to hear that you found our bungalows to be amazingly clean. Thank you for making special mention of this. We do offer bottled water in both our dining room and bar and water can also be bought from our little shop and the bar area. The road leading to Umngazi is a municipality road and we agree that work needs to be done. It definitely ushers one to drive slowly and enjoy the beauty of the Transkei and its' simplicity offered.
