TRIP ADVISOR - Karl - 5 June 2023 - - - Fairytail honeymoon - - - "A truly amazing memorable experience, room was clean neat and had the best amenities. Quite a stressful drive from Durban to get to Umngazi. but all that disappeared once we arrive at this little piece of heaven on earth. there were understandably electricity issues, but the staffs positive attitude, friendly faces and professional service made up for the inconvenience..... and the food was out of this world, really well prepared, fresh and a great variety made it really difficult to not try everything on offer and there was alot of variety. An experience we will never forget... Thank you Umngazi"

Dear Karl. Thank you for choosing Umngazi for your special holiday celebration. It means the world to us that we surpassed your expectations and that you enjoyed your time spent with us. We unfortunately had an Eskom power supply outage that lasted two weeks and needed to rest our standby generators that come on automatically and feed the entire hotel. We appreciate your understanding as it is our endeavour that challenges of this nature not impact on a guests stay with us. Our own employees facilitated Eskom in getting replacement poles in place to restore electricity to Umngazi as well as residents in our community. We look forward to welcoming you back for many more holidays in paradise and wish you friendly Umngazi blessings until then.
