1 How would you rate your overall experience?

TRIPADVISOR - 24 March 2024 - brucesaxby2- "Not for older people Many young people dominating recreation areas with toddlers Rooms are in steep terrain Noisy children and many accompanied adults in the dining and buffet area. Seafood buffet was disappointing. Lunches were excellent"

Umngazi Hotel And Spa
Dear Bruce. We welcome all feedback from our valued guests so that we can continuously strive to offer the best holiday experience in paradise on the Wild Coast. Umngazi is very much a family holiday destination and during school holidays we have many happy families visit us making lifetime memories. Families return year after year and we welcome them with open arms. Many have grandparents join them and rejoice equally in the special times that we endeavour to create for all our guests. The property is built on the beautiful pristine undulating coastal riverine biome of the Wild Coast. Some of our rooms are higher up but many are situated on the lower river bank with flat access. It is our responsibility to manage all aspects of the hotel and that includes not being disturbed. We humbly apologise that this wasn't the case during your stay with us and note it for future. We and our chefs are very proud of our extensive Saturday night seafood buffet offering as it is a very pivotal part of a stay with us. It is however a buffet style dining experience often enjoyed under the stars on our expansive dining room deck. We'd love to welcome you back and may we suggest possibly doing so out of school holidays. Wishing you friendly Pondo blessings from the Umngazi team.
