TRIPADVISOR - Traveler694396 - 7 Oct 2019 - - - 30th Wedding Anniversary Long Weekend Getaway - - - My wife and I concluded that although the travel by road to the hotel is taxing due to potholes, speed humps and inexperienced drivers, the experience is well worth it..... rather go to Umngazi than resort destinations like Mauritius. We are most grateful for your lovely review of your stay at Umngazi and are very pleased that you so enjoyed your time spent with us celebrating your 30th Wedding anniversary. The major routes through this beautiful part of the Eastern Cape are receiving justified attention from national government and some are already done. The speed bumps, although a minor frustration, do ensure reduced speeds for road users. There are flight options available to Mthatha and Port St John's, details of which can be found on our website.
