TRIPADVISOR - Cole_Tarko - 22 Oct 2019 - - - Special place! - - - We recently stayed at this gem of a resort. It was our first visit, we had heard many wonderful things about it and it definitely lived up to all our expectations. The road there is long and at times treacherous ( so be prepared to take it easy) but absolutely worth the little piece of heaven at the end of it. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were stunning, clean and fresh and the food was just divine! Be prepared to put on a few kilos! We also enjoyed a guided walk with Freedom. He was a super guide with the most incredible ability to spot birds so if you’re a bird fanatic, a walk with Freedom is a must. He was very knowledgeable on all the birds and trees in the area. Most of the rooms have beautiful views of the river or sea. If you have trouble climbing stairs just make sure you request one of the lower units as the top units require quite a few stairs up and down. We also had a spa couples package as part of our stay. The spa is on the top on the dune so the view from the treatment rooms is breathtaking! The therapists were friendly and professional and the treatments were great. Overall a great experience. The place is great for families with kids. (Kids daily activities, kids dining room, huge playground, kids walks etc.)
We hired a nanny, Alicia, to entertain our 18month old mainly during meal times and she was so fantastic with him.
