1 How would you rate your overall experience?

TRIPADVISOR - Kobus69 - 19 Nov 2019 - - - Great reasort - - - Lovely resort on the wild coast. Wonderful food and well hosted by the resident chef. Rooms are good with ceiling fans and good quality bed and linen. No hair dryer and very poor housekeeping. Service in general is not what we expected from this type of resort. Dear Kobus Thank you very much for both your positive as well as constructive feedback of Umngazi. We are happy to hear that you found our food wonderful and that our chef hosted you so well. We try our best to keep Umngazi just the way it is, but also work hard to keep our standards very high. We take all constructive feedback very seriously and we are disappointed to hear that you feel our housekeeping department and service areas are lacking. We do not keep hair dryers in all of our rooms, but they are available upon request from Reception. We try our best to ensure that all our guests are looked after, comfortable and their needs catered for. I apologize that we failed in our service offering to you. Thank you once again for choosing Umngazi for your stay in the Wild Coast. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to do better for you should you be returning in the future. 2 How would you rate Umngazi as a "value for money" destination?

The facilities are marvelous and the location superb. The short ferry ride to the unspoiled beach is fantastic. Although service is lacking, I still recommend this unique and well kept resort.
