That said, we’re genuinely sorry that other aspects of your stay did not reflect the standard we strive for. Your comments regarding the restaurant service, afternoon tea, and food presentation have been taken to heart. We’re actively working with our team to enhance training and ensure that our hospitality consistently reflects the care and quality we aim to deliver.
Regarding the booking error, we regret the inconvenience caused. The Reservations team has reviewed the situation and acknowledged that the confusion stemmed from the week gap between your two bookings. While we’re pleased your original request was ultimately honored, we agree that clearer follow-up should have occurred before cancelling the second booking.
As for the Wi-Fi explanation, which we believe was intended in a lighter spirit, we understand how frustrating that moment must have felt. We’re committed to ensuring that such experiences are not repeated and are taking steps to improve communication and service delivery across the board.
We are also in a remote location, and we are dependent on the local Vodacom towers in the area and if their network is unstable then our wi-fi becomes a problem.
